Mohammed Ali is a highly skilled professional with a strong background in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering, specializing in various areas of combustion modeling and fluid dynamics.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, and has completed his Master of Engineering (MEng) and Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Anna University.
His research interests include modeling of laminar flames, pre-ignition, auto-ignition & super-knock modeling in Spark Ignition engines, spray combustion modeling, injector nozzle flow modeling, two-phase flows, modeling of diesel combustion engines (0D & 3D), soot modeling, turbulence modeling (RANS & LES), DNS of turbulent flames, advanced meshing techniques (Moving mesh), and advanced parallel post-processing techniques using Python-ParaView and high-performance computing.
