In order to leverage the large customer base, the digital agenda sits at the core of delivering the Barclays UK strategy. Leading the software development team, driving digital and omni-channel, with a team of 2000 engineerings globally, I helped set the overall strategy, and executed the plan to implement it, through the following initiatives: 

- Platform Modernization and Simplification by breaking down monolith applications into modern cloud based mciroservcies (both internal cloud an AWS). Rebuilt the Agent Desktop and al the digital platforms, and retiring a third of all system
- Customer Experience and Partnership - to increase NPS from low 20’s to 55, through overhaul of customer experience, increase digital adoption, and use internally built tools for Digital Operations optimization. Built a personalized marketing platform, allowing targeted caption and A/B testing, and increase seenu through partnership fees.
- Digital and Omni-channel Platform - Built Omni-channel Framework, for Barclays Digital platforms. Increased speed of delivery by migrating to micro-services and implementing automated DevOps methodology, and implement full channel integration (withdraw cashing using NFC on mobile/ATM, smart call tokenization)
- Security and Resilience Platform - Integrate leading tools (Veracode, Threatmatrix, Arxan) and expansion of Attack Modeling activity, implementation of DSAT (Dynamic Application Security Testing) 
- Engineering Optimization - 20% reduction in workforce achieved by implementing Scaled Agile methodology and automating DevOps across the full SDLC.

Led and managed a group of highly skilled consultants in helping companies achieve optimal design and operations. Focused on IT Strategy and Architecture. I led a consulting team that launched the architecture of Smart City, the telecom arm of EEC (Emaar Economic City). And worked as a consultant as part of the Riyadh Bank Performance Transformation Group, in transforming and optimizing the IT operations and costs.

Strong focus on integration of the three major Business units (Verizon Telecom, Verizon Business and Verizon Wireless). Served on Group Architecture board to unify system platforms in all units. Planned/executed the operations strategy for key initiatives at Verizon (telecom and wireless) with focus on Bundle Strategies. Controlled an annual budget of $100 million and led a 1000 person global organization. 

Key Results  include: 
-Fiber to the Premises Platform - Integral part of the team that deployed 25 systems in 90 days to help launch the platform to service 35 million customers over 10 years. Delivered National Desktop, provides a single framework for all Verizon Call Center, Web Services Strategy to consolidate order negotiations and order management through a common interface, National Ordering and Billing Gateway to consolidate access to legacy OSS for CRM/Self Service.
-Consolidated Desktop Call Center - Designed and deployed an integrated desktop solution for East and West telecom call center reps. Replaced a suite of applications on all desktops (more than 30,000 reps, and 19 desktop applications across all centers) with a single desktop application (ordering, billing, order management, and account/profile management). 
-(For GTE) Application Suite for support of Wholesale Open Market Transition (OMT)
(Manager), and Co-led the implementation and deployment of TONICS, GTE’s Network Monitoring infrastructure.
