His journey in legal advocacy began during his time as an Investigator Intern at The Legal Aid Society of NYC, where he played a crucial role in supporting cases related to civil rights and social justice.

Mohamed's academic journey is marked by his studies in International Relations and Affairs at Sarah Lawrence College, where he is a sophomore. He served as the Resident Assistant, overseeing a group of students to create a positive living environment, as well as as a Student Assistant and a Student Research Assistant where he developed strong analytical and research skills that would later benefit his legal career.

He was a Legal Research Intern at the ACLU of Minnesota, where he contributed to crucial research for cases involving civil liberties. His role as Communications and Outreach Intern at the ACLU further refined his communication skills and ability to engage with various stakeholders in legal contexts. Additionally, he interned with Senator George Latimer's Campaign, gaining valuable insights into the political processes that influence legal and social issues.
