Mohamad Chamas is an educator with a diverse background in STEM, psychology, and the non-profit sector, focusing on humanitarian, educational, and political projects.
He is committed to fostering a community of visionaries dedicated to establishing businesses for regional resource autonomy and environmental sustainability, with a specific focus on Lebanon.
Mohamad pursued his education at Duke University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Global Cultural Studies, a minor in Education, and a certificate in Documentary Studies.
His educational journey also includes completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma program at United World College Costa Rica and studying at Lycée Franco-Libanais Verdun.
Throughout his career, Mohamad has served in various roles such as a DP Psychology Teacher and SIS Manager at Wellspring Learning Community, demonstrating his expertise in education and psychology.
He has also contributed to the field as an Innovation & Critical Thinking Afterschool Instructor at Lycée Franco-Libanais Verdun and as a Computer Science and Math Teacher at Goodwill International School.
Mohamad's experience extends beyond the classroom, having worked as a Scholarship Coordinator at Unite Lebanon Youth Project and as a Videographer at Duke University.
His versatile skill set is reflected in his roles as a Tech Tutor, Video Producer, Technology Associate, Multimedia Project Studio Consultant, and Student Tech Trainer during his time at Duke University.
Additionally, Mohamad has applied his creative talents as a Videographer at Freelance and as a Curator at TEDx, showcasing his proficiency in multimedia production and event curation.
Currently serving as a Consultant at Oyster®, Mohamad Chamas continues to leverage his knowledge and skills to contribute meaningfully to projects that align with his mission of fostering community growth and sustainability.
