Modi Kutua is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Oxford, Said Business School, and serves as the Head of Corporate Engagement at the Oxford Africa Business Alliance.
With a background in finance and business analysis, Modi previously worked as the assistant portfolio manager for South African and pan-African private markets portfolios at Alexander Forbes Investments, overseeing around US$400 million in assets under management.
Prior to this, as a Senior Africa Private Equity Analyst at RisCura, Modi provided detailed external valuations for direct and indirect private equity investors, ensuring compliance with global standards.
Modi's early career included positions at Allan Gray, where he was involved in business analysis, business development across Africa, and played a key role in the establishment of operations and office in Kenya.
His educational journey includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Financial Analysis & Portfolio Management, a Master of Commerce in Finance, and currently pursuing an MBA at the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
