    Outside of work, Miya has a passion for outdoor and action sports lifestyle, with interests in snowboarding, splitboarding, backpacking, hiking, camping, mountain biking, and surfing. She has been actively involved in the snowboarding scene since 1997.

    Miya holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Interactive Design from Syracuse University. Her past roles include positions at Burton Snowboards as Sr. Merchandising Process & Integration Manager, Sr. Global Product Merchandiser, Sr. Global Product Manager for Bags, Base Layer, Gloves & Protection, and as a Product Manager for Technical Bags and Luggage. She has also worked as a Senior Industrial Designer at Jager Di Paola Kemp Design.
