    Mitsunori Ogihara is a renowned expert in algorithm development for computational problems with specialties in data mining, complexity theory, music analysis, and bioinformatics.

    He pursued his PhD in Information Sciences at the prestigious Tokyo Institute of Technology and has a background in education from University of Rochester and Tama High School.

    With an extensive academic career, Mitsunori has held several positions at University of Miami including Professor of Music Media and Industry, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Professor of Computer Science, and Director of Data Mining in the Center for Computational Science.
