Mitch Hawley

Mitch Hawley is an experienced entrepreneur, aquaponics specialist, and food production expert. With a passion for sustainable food systems, Mitch founded Aquaponics Masters, an organization focused on developing and improving aquaponics systems that maximize production capability, reduce labor, and maximize space utilization.

Mitch's educational background includes studies in business administration and management at St. Petersburg College and an internship in commercial aquaponics at the University of the Virgin Islands. He has also gained practical experience in aquaponics, aquaculture, and hydroponics through non-profit work and training with Pentair / AES.

In addition to his aquaponics expertise, Mitch has experience in nutrition and food service, having worked at Smoothie King and in various roles in the restaurant industry. He is also certified in Safe Food Handling by the State of Florida.

Over the years, Mitch has founded several companies, including Zen Friendly Organics and 50 50 Apps, and has also worked in social media marketing and sales management.
