Misty Gonzalez

Misty Gonzalez is a multi-talented professional whose expertise ranges from environmental design to entrepreneurship and entertainment. She studied ballet at the prestigious Alvin Ailey school and Flamenco dance, percussion, and musicology in Madrid, Spain. She also studied Environmental Design at the ArtCenter College of Design and Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. With extensive experience in creative direction and a focus on bettering society, Gonzalez founded Hortus Environmental Design, LLC, which provides consultation to architects and landscape architects on constructability and material and systems feasibility in the built environment. She also helps end-user clients keep their investments sound. In addition to her consultancy work, she is a performer and has shared stages with the Philip Glass Ensemble, Broadway, and the Metropolitan Opera, among others. She is also collaborating on a new immersive nightlife experience, Salon Des Sauvages, designed to awaken your inner animal and abolish cultural standards of beauty and ugliness. She is continually expanding her knowledge through certificate programs, including a certificate from Harvard University in improving businesses through a culture of health and exercising leadership.
