Miryam Mendoza

Miryam Mendoza is an experienced Early Childhood Music Educator at the Addison Music Learning Center. With over 25 years of experience in music education, she has taught music and choral singing to children at various educational levels, from preschool to high school. Raised in a musical family, she began her formal music education early on and has since developed expertise in several teaching methodologies, including Orff, Dalcroze, and Kodály.
Miryam holds an Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Music Education from the Royal Conservatory and Ryerson University. Throughout her career, she has worked at various institutions, including Cristo Rey School, Holy Name of Mary, and Rotherglen School, where she teaches music fundamentals, choir, guitar, and recorder. Additionally, she leads Handbells and Orff ensembles and co-directs school musical theatre productions.
Miryam is also involved with the Oakville Choir for Children and Youth, where she has recently taken on the role of choir conductor after years of participation as a parent.12
