Mireia Sanchez

Mireia Sanchez is a co-founder of Azimut 360 SCCL focusing on local and international renewable energy projects with expertise in grid-connected photovoltaic plants and rural electrification projects in Developing Countries.

She has over fifteen years of experience in large and small scale photovoltaic projects globally, with a specialization in building integrated PV Systems and a total capacity of 23.33 MW on multimegawatt projects.

Mireia also possesses nine years of experience in rural electrification projects across Africa, Asia, Central America, and the Pacific, implementing Solar Oxygen Solutions and various renewable energy technologies like Off-Grid Solar PV Systems and Hybrid microgrid systems.

In addition to her project management roles, Mireia is a Solar PV facilitator and lecturer in Renewable Energy Trainings, particularly focused on Solar PV and Solar Medical Oxygen Solutions.

She has been part of consortiums for ACP-EU Energy Facility EuropeAid Projects and has extensive experience in stand-alone photovoltaic systems, solar thermal systems, and project development in countries including Spain, France, Morocco, Nicaragua, and more.

Mireia's educational background includes a Master's in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and specialized training in Micro CHP, energy rating calculations in buildings, solar thermal installations, and International Public Procurement (IPP).
