Mireia Angulo

Mireia Angulo is an experienced professional with a diverse background spanning science, business, and investment analysis.

She holds a Biology and Biochemistry degree, as well as a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Barcelona, complemented by an MBA from EADA Business School.

With over 5 years of research in developmental genetics and epigenetics, Mireia has contributed to numerous scientific publications.

Her career has seen her involved in management of innovation and technology transfer at esteemed institutions like the University of Barcelona and Fundació Clínic per a la Recerca Biomèdica.

She has actively participated in project management, business development, licensing agreements, and strategic partnerships, including the establishment of several spin-off companies.

Mireia boasts more than 8 years of experience as an Investment Analyst in venture capital funds specializing in Life Sciences, focusing on biotech, medical devices, and diagnostics.

In this role, she has been instrumental in analyzing and executing new investment opportunities, negotiating agreements, and serving as a Board member.

Beyond her corporate roles, Mireia serves as a strategic advisor and mentor, aiding entrepreneurs in creating new companies during their early-stage phases.

Her expertise extends to teaching, with a track record of delivering classes at the University of Barcelona and various entrepreneurship and innovation Master classes.
