Miraz Sadi
Miraz Sadi is a driven first-year biological science student at the University of Rochester with a passion for science. He aims to tackle the most pressing issues in biological science using the combination of bioinformatics and wet lab techniques. Miraz has studied both A-level and O-level science, graduating from SFX Greenherald International School and BAF Shaheen English Medium School, respectively.
Throughout his academic career, Miraz has held various positions of leadership and volunteered as an academic coordinator at the Society for the Popularization of Science, Bangladesh, and as an assistant coach for the Bangladesh Junior Science Olympiad. With his expertise in science, he has worked as a laboratory instructor at Maksudul Alam Science Lab (MASLab), and as a tutor for O&A level students in science and commerce fields.
Miraz's professional experience also encompasses a stint as a senator for the Academic Affairs Committee at the University of Rochester, where he curated effective academic policies. He also worked as a research intern at the Plant Biotechnology Lab, where he gained experience in cutting-edge laboratory techniques and discovered various fields of biological science.
