Miranda Pond is a senior-level nonprofit management professional with over 16 years of experience in managing strategic growth, logistics, communications, budgets, and teams, in high-stress, high-impact, and highly regulated environments. She has dedicated her career to protecting vulnerable populations and worked for various organizations that focus on different ways to do so. She has been an active member of The Rural Resilience Network as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Social Service Emergency Management Consultant. She is also the Founder of the Chico Children's Alliance and a former Disaster Case Manager at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
Miranda has served as a Wraparound Program Family Specialist/Behavior Health Counselor (BHC) at Youth for Change and Officer of the Board of Directors at Phenomenal Families, Inc. She was the Placer County Independent Living Program Coordinator at Unity Care and National Advocacy & Policy Director at Foster Care Alumni of America. She also co-founded the California chapter and served as an Executive Board President of Foster Care Alumni of America. Miranda has also had roles as a Project Management Intern at Placer County and Assistant Private School Administrator.
