Minmin Fu
Ph.D. Student
Minmin Fu is a climate dynamicist who received her Ph.D. from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University in 2022.1 She is currently a Flint Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University, working with Prof. Alexey Fedorov.13 Her research interests include:
- El Niño Southern Oscillation and dynamics of Westerly Wind Bursts
- Paleoclimate, focusing on the warm Pliocene and the Last Glacial Maximum
- Response of the tropical Pacific Ocean to ongoing climate change
- Deep time paleoclimate
During her time at Harvard, Minmin worked with Prof. Eli Tziperman.12 She has also been recognized for her teaching, receiving a Harvard University Certificate of Distinction in Teaching from the Bok Center in 2019.4 Prior to her doctoral studies, Minmin was an undergraduate student at UC Davis from June 2013.3
