Minhong Yu

Minhong Yu is a multi-discipline artist, graphic designer, filmmaker, and curator based in the Netherlands. Yu was born in China and has a background in Fine Arts and Design. Graduating from the China Central Academy of Fine Art in 2013 and earning a degree in design at Sandberg Instituut in 2016, Yu seamlessly bridges two cultures through creative expressions. Holding a Master's Degree in Graphic Design from Sandberg at Gerrit Rietveld Academie Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Yu's educational journey has shaped a versatile and innovative approach to art and design. With experience working across various organizations such as I YU Studio, CinemAsia Film Festival, Fo Guang Shan He Hua Temple, Mandarin Stars Europe, and 2x4, Yu has honed skills in art direction, program coordination, marketing, teaching, and graphic design.
