Custom-search-engine team. Refactor/redesigned the auto-complete pipeline to make it much simpler, faster and stabler. Increased auto-complete serving capacity by 3x without increasing resource usage. Instant-serving team. This is a web-search infrastructure that serve the freshest web-pages within seconds. Design and implemented serving index compressions, reduced index RAM usage  by 2/3 while providing better performance. Design and implemented various optimizations that cumulatively increased qps capacity by over 50%. Debug and fixed the majority of the bugs (owned by the team) that caused crashes in production, sometimes with only a core-dump of an optimized binary.

click-to-call team. Rewrote front-end code (javascript) for click-to-call to  reduce its size by 2/3 (The size was a launch-blocker).
