Mikko Vilenius is a highly qualified Senior Machine Learning Researcher with extensive experience in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Software Engineering. He studied Ph.D. in Educational Technology from the University of Electro-Communications with a focus on Recommendation Systems and NLP. He also holds a Sc.M. in Computer Science from the University of Jyväskylä. Vilenius is a jack of all trades and fluent in Finnish, English, and Japanese.

He has worked in several organizations throughout his career, including The Japan Institute for Educational Measurement, Inc., the University of Jyväskylä, and now, BenevolentAI. He started as a Research Assistant and later worked as a Software Engineer and Computer Science Teacher in the past. Currently, he is an Advanced Machine Learning Researcher at BenevolentAI, where he uses his extensive knowledge of NLP to develop innovative solutions.
