Mikko Koskinen

Mikko Koskinen is an experienced entrepreneur with a diverse background in engineering, design, and startup development, currently based in Berlin.

He leads the international expansion team at Kyrö Distillery, where he has played a crucial role in developing the brand, marketing strategies, and product portfolio.

Apart from his primary role, Mikko advises startups, speaks at events, and writes a column on branding for the business magazine Kauppalehti.

His academic journey includes studies in industrial design, mechanical engineering, product development, and organizational leadership from prestigious institutions like Taideteollinen korkeakoulu, Stanford University, and Hyper Island.

Throughout his career, Mikko has held various positions such as Market Manager Germany at Kyrö Distillery, Client Advisor at ANDx, and Mentor at organizations like Katapult Ocean and RARE Media.

He was also the Co-founder of Kyrö Distillery, Hacklog, Inc., and Scoopinion, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills.

Mikko's expertise extends to product design, brand management, and team-based innovation, honed through roles as Product Designer at Seos Design Oy and CEO at Scoopinion, among others.

In his free time, Mikko enjoys activities like reading, cooking, freediving, and hiking to recharge and relax.
