Mikk Olli
Founding team at Whatifi
Mikk Olli is a user-centered, start-up-minded designer with a passion for building digital products.
With extensive experience as Head of Design for Stratasys software products in Boston, Mikk played a pivotal role in the launch of cloud-based collaborative desktop software for professional 3D printers.
Having been among the initial team members at GrabCAD, Mikk contributed significantly to the design and development of the GrabCAD Community, which has grown to become the largest computer-aided design (CAD) community worldwide, serving over 5 million mechanical engineers.
In addition to his corporate roles, Mikk is a co-founder of the non-profit organization Eesti2.0, where he actively participates in organizing an annual summer school aimed at inspiring young students aged 14-19 to pursue careers in technology.
Mikk Olli pursued his education by studying for a BA degree at the Estonian Academy of Arts.
His professional journey includes roles in various organizations such as being a founding team member at Whatifi, leading the digital product design program and lecturing at the Estonian Academy of Arts, and working as a product designer in the United States and Estonia at GrabCAD.
Furthermore, Mikk has shared his expertise as a guest lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Arts, and through his freelance design business named Irrregular, along with his earlier experience as an assistant and graphic designer at SanMal.
