Miki Meek is an accomplished American radio producer and journalist, currently serving as a Senior Producer at This American Life. She began her journey with the show as an intern and freelancer before officially joining the staff in December 2012.

Meek's career in journalism started while she was still in college, working as a stringer for The Salt Lake Tribune. She later held positions as an online producer and editor at both National Geographic and The New York Times, where she specialized in interactive and visual storytelling. Personal Life
Miki Meek was born to a Japanese mother and a White American father and grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in West Mountain, Utah. She later moved to Japan during her teenage years, where she attended an international school. Meek speaks Japanese and has embraced her cultural heritage, choosing to go by her mother's nickname, Miki, as her professional name.1
