Mikhail Panchenko

Mikhail Panchenko is a seasoned professional who transitioned from a diverse educational background in Philosophy, Economics, and French to a successful career in the tech industry.

With a strong foundation in backend services, infrastructure, and databases, Mikhail co-founded Opsmatic, which was later acquired by New Relic, Inc. where he led the team that delivered the NR Infrastructure product.

Mikhail has been actively involved in enhancing infrastructure tools, overseeing company-level reliability initiatives, and addressing database instability issues.

Outside of work, Mikhail enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and cultivating skills like snowboarding and surfing.

His extensive experience includes roles as a Founding Engineer at Metronome, Senior Director, Lead Architect for Site Engineering, Principal Software Engineer, and Director Software Engineering at New Relic, Inc., as well as positions at other renowned tech companies like Urban Airship, Flickr, and Yahoo!.

Mikhail's academic journey includes studying at Washington University in St. Louis.
