I cofounded Paladin AI in 2013 to provide data science and machine learning expertise to the aerospace industry. Our training analytics platform, InstructIQ, integrates with flight simulation devices from every major manufacturer and supports aircraft from Boeing, Airbus, Cessna, Beechcraft, and others. It provides flight instructors and pilots with analytics about proficiency and competency, and makes training recommendations on how to improve.

InstructIQ was acquired in 2023 by TXT Group.

In the capacity of Chief Data Scientist and later CTO, I lead the development of our core intellectual property, our competency inference engine, and supervise a team of ML engineers and software developers.

As a founder, I also play a leading role in:

While completing a PhD in computational astrophysics, I developed numerous simulation and analysis techniques for the study of massive star formation using supercomputer simulations. I implemented a technique for calculating radiative transfer around a star cluster, combining raytracing and diffusive transport methods. I also served as a scientist presenter at the McCallion Planetarium and the McMaster Origins Institute.
