Mike Wingert

Mike Wingert, an accomplished engineer and business executive, has had a successful career spanning several decades. Wingert holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He began his professional journey at IBM as a Development Engineering Manager, where he honed his skills in engineering and project management. He then went on to hold executive positions at several tech companies, including Maxtor, Cornice, Seagate Technology, and Solexel.

As President and CEO of Solexel, Wingert brought his engineering expertise to the forefront, leading the Silicon Valley-based company's efforts to produce high-efficiency solar cells for use in commercial and residential applications. As Executive VP and GM Personal Compute Business at Seagate Technology, he oversaw the company's efforts to deliver innovative products for personal computing, leading the team to achieve record growth and revenue.
