Mike Straka

Mike Straka is a seasoned television journalist, producer, and author with a vast experience in news packages, network news, and features. He is an alumnus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, where he studied English. Working with Fox, ABC, CBS, Spike TV, HDNet, and several television production companies, Mike has covered high-profile events like the Olympics, Oscars, and the Ultimate Fighting Championship. While he takes pride in quick turnaround on his pieces, accurate storytelling, and strong adherence to network editorial guidelines, he has carved a niche in sports journalism with a particular focus on mixed martial arts (MMA) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Some of his notable experiences include hosting the Eleven Seven Music Group's MMA Noise, Bleav Podcast Network's EP MMAvericks Podcast, among others. He has also authored a book titled Rowdy Rousey: Ronda Rousey's Fight To The Top at Triumph Books. At Authentic Brands Group, Mike served as a Sr. Vice President, Media, and Entertainment, while at AxS TV, he hosted Fighting Words With Mike Straka. Other notable experiences include serving as the Vice President & Executive Producer at Fox News Channel, co-hosting and producing Spike's MMA Uncensored Live at Viacom, and serving as the creator/host of Tapout Radio at Sirius XM Radio Inc.
