He has played a vital role as the Managing Consultant at The Wind Coalition, contributing significantly to Texas's remarkable journey to become the number one Wind State in the U.S., achieving a 200-fold increase in installed capacity over a decade. Mike has actively served on various Texas Energy Policy agencies and task forces, influencing sustainable energy decisions in the region.

His expertise lies in Renewable energy policy, including Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS), Renewable Energy Certificates (REC), Competitive Renewable Energy Zones (CREZ), and Green pricing strategies. Mike's skills extend to Project Development encompassing wind, PV (solar photovoltaic), solar thermal, biomass, and geothermal projects. He has also been involved in creating educational materials such as the Texas Renewable Energy Resource Assessment, showcasing his commitment to knowledge dissemination in the renewable energy sector.
