Mike Sharkey

Mike Sharkey is a highly motivated individual who believes in the power of self-belief and perseverance.

With a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and diverse educational experiences including studying at IES London and completing high school at Henry Hudson Regional High School, Mike has a strong academic background.

Professionally, Mike has held various roles showcasing his versatility and adaptability.

Currently serving as an IT Manager at Unite Us, Mike has previously excelled in positions such as Customer Success, Quality Assurance Specialist, and IT Service Desk Supervisor at the same organization.

Before his tenure at Unite Us, Mike gained valuable experience working in roles such as a Server at McLoone's Restaurants, Logistics Coordinator and Database Management Intern at the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County, and Group Facilitator at World in Conversation.

His prior involvements also include positions at Penn State University's Information Technology Services, On The Deck - Restaurant & Harbor View Bar, Bayshore Pharmacy Card & Gift Shop, and SMLSD, where he held the title of Head of Quality Assurance & Customer Support.

Throughout his journey, Mike Sharkey has harnessed the lessons learned from facing challenges like Crohn's Disease to inspire and empower others to overcome their own obstacles and achieve the seemingly impossible.
