Mike Savioli

Mike Savioli is a dedicated professional who has been serving the City of Independence since 1974, starting as a part-time employee and transitioning to a full-time officer in 1976. Throughout his career, Mike has been committed to upholding public safety and serving the community.

After retiring from full-time service in October 2009, Mike Savioli returned to work with the City in February 2010, continuing his role on a part-time basis. He appreciates the proactive approach of the City, with strong support from the Chief and city leaders, ensuring the best personnel, training, and equipment for the job. Mike takes pride in his service to residents and the entire community.

Mike Savioli's educational background includes graduating from Independence High School. He has been actively involved as a police officer and bomb technician at the Independence Police Department, demonstrating his expertise and dedication to public safety and law enforcement.
