Mike Saffitz is the Vice President of Engineering at Magnify, a role he has held since April 2023. He has a rich background in engineering and leadership across various technology companies. Before joining Magnify, Saffitz was the Head of Engineering for Reporting & Analytics at Stripe from January 2019 to August 2022, where he led a significant team and achieved impressive growth metrics, including a 500% increase in user adoption and a 140% compound annual growth rate in revenue.12
Saffitz co-founded Apptentive in 2011, serving as its CTO until December 2018. During his tenure, he was instrumental in building the engineering team from just three co-founders to a robust organization of 20 members. He also served on Apptentive's board until 2022 when the company was acquired by KKR-backed Alchemer.134 Earlier in his career, he worked at Microsoft as a Program Manager for Windows Phone and held various engineering roles, including at Conceivian and as a Programmer Analyst at the University of Pennsylvania.1
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Mathematical Economics from Pomona College and an MBA from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business.1
