Mike Piech

Mike Piech is a seasoned product executive with a passion for complex technology. With a strong technical understanding and expertise in enterprise software, product marketing, product management, and international business, Piech has held various leadership roles in different technology companies such as Red Hat, Magnet Systems, Engine Yard, Oracle, BEA Systems, and Dorado Corporation.

Piech studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, and later completed an MBA at INSEAD.

As Vice President and General Manager at Red Hat, Piech oversees Cloud Storage & Data Services. In his previous roles as Vice President of Product Marketing at Magnet Systems and Engine Yard, Piech successfully led cross-functional teams and drove strategy, product development, and go-to-market plans.

Piech's experience in the software industry started at Sun Microsystems where he worked as a Software Developer and later transitioned to management roles in Product Marketing and Product Management. He also worked as a Consultant, International Channel Marketing at Sun Microsystems and a Manager, Product Marketing at Starlight Networks.
