Mike Millard is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, venture capital, and innovation ecosystem building.

Throughout his career, he has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Dell, HP, and AT&T Knowledge Ventures, contributing to the commercialization of strategic solutions, out-licensing, and investments.

He has been actively involved in the Texas innovation ecosystem by connecting corporates, universities, government, and VCs to support impactful startups and promote investment in Texas.

At MassChallenge, Mike led the first US expansion in Texas, accelerating nearly 300 early-stage startups from diverse backgrounds and industries.

Mike has collaborated with intrapreneurs, entrepreneurs, and the innovation community to pilot new technologies and conduct due diligence on potential investments across various sectors like AI, IoT, and mobile.

He is the Co-Founder of Pitch-a-Kid, promoting entrepreneurship by having real entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to kids, and also manages the startup resource site Startup Info Matters.

With a background in Marketing and Business Administration, Mike holds a Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University and an MBA in International Business from Western Illinois University.

Currently, he serves as an Operating Partner at Ecliptic Capital, LLC, bringing his wealth of expertise to the venture capital landscape.
