Mike McKeever, Managing Partner at Legacy Ventures
Mike McKeever is the Managing Partner of Legacy Venture Partners, LLC, a privately owned investment family office based in Greenwich, Connecticut.123 He has held this position since retiring from Lehman Brothers in 2000.1
Prior to joining Legacy Ventures, McKeever enjoyed a successful career at Lehman Brothers, where he held several leadership roles including:
- Co-head of the Investment Banking Division
- Co-head of the Equity Division
- Head of the Private Equity Division
- Chair of the firm's investment committee1
Before Lehman Brothers, McKeever worked at the First National Bank of Chicago.1
McKeever is a former swimmer at Tulane University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics and an MBA.1 He is a new member of the Board of Tulane, the main governing body of the university.1 McKeever is also a past member of the T-Club, an organization of former Tulane student athletes who support the Green Wave's athletic programs, and a member of the Tulane President's Council.1
In addition to his roles at Legacy Ventures and Tulane, McKeever serves on the board of directors and heads the investment committee for Family Centers, a charity in Connecticut's Fairfield County.1 He lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with his wife Valerie and their three children.1
