Juniper is a $60M full-service landscape company providing design, construction, and maintenance services for residential communities and commercial properties in Florida. Brought on board to help build out the company’s financial and organizational infrastructure shortly after the company partnered with a private equity firm. Co-led the implementation of a scalable ERP software system.

ELS is a national flatbed carrier specializing in the transportation of over-dimensional steel and building products. When I started working with the owners, we were a $16M business that couldn’t secure growth funding. Since that time, we’ve implemented an industry-leading ERP system, brought on a seasoned management team, and grown annual revenue to more than $50M.

Provided comprehensive advisory services to a variety of entrepreneurial companies primarily in the areas of technology and transportation. Assignments included helping a third party logistics company implement a financial reporting system and resolve a shareholder dispute; assisting a telecom company with the development of its revenue recognition process and implementation of a next-generation billing platform; and working with a software company to manage cash flow, communicate with the board and investors, and assist with sale of the company.

World 50 provides private peer communities that enable C-level executives from Global 1000 companies to share insights, build relationships, and drive transformation. Membership is by invitation only. Recruited by the new private equity owner, I built out the back-office from scratch (including finance, accounting, and HR), developed a dashboard of key performance metrics, implemented a formal budgeting process, managed the banking relationships, and oversaw all legal matters.

World 50, Inc

NRI was a $50M specialty contractor focused on renovating apartment buildings throughout the Southeast for some of the country’s largest multifamily property owners. Quarterbacked the sale of the business to a private equity firm (worked closely with investment bankers, attorneys, accountants, and owners) and oversaw all due diligence. Co-led the organization’s restructuring efforts after onset of the recession.

NRI Construction

Ace was one of the largest privately-owned residential mortgage lenders in the nation, originating over $3.5B in loans annually through 28 branches and 1200 employees. Oversaw warehouse lending facility of $250M. Co-led company's crisis management efforts with onset of subprime mortgage meltdown.

Ace Mortgage Funding

Omni was a quickly growing financial services company engaged in real estate lending, hard money lending, commercial leasing, title insurance services, and real estate development. Implemented the financial infrastructure that enabled the company to grow from $90M in assets to $650M in assets. Co-led financial side of the company's $35M IPO.
