Mike Maher

Mike Maher is a Principal at Valley Forge Financial Group, a company that provides comprehensive financial services to high net worth families and business owners.1 He specializes in six key areas: wealth transfer and estate planning, qualified plan design and administration, investment advisory services, private equity and private real estate investments, executive benefit planning, and family office services.1

Mike joined Valley Forge Financial Group in 2019, bringing over a decade of experience in private equity and direct investing.3 He started his career at PNC Bank in the Financial Services and Advisory Banking division before spending eight years at GMH Ventures, the private equity arm of the Holloway Family Office.3 Mike holds FINRA Series 6, 22, and 63 licenses.3

Educationally, Mike attended the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a B.B.A from the Mendoza College of Business as a Finance major.3 During his time at Notre Dame, he was also a member of the Men's Lacrosse team, serving as captain in his senior year.3

Mike is part of the leadership at Valley Forge Financial Group, which was transitioned to him and his brother Sean Maher by their uncle, George Beyer, in the late 1990s.2 Together, they serve as stewards for the company, continuing its legacy of providing proactive solutions to complex financial situations.2

In his personal life, Mike lives in Havertown with his wife Rachel and their children: son Charlie and twins Mikey and Mia.3 He enjoys golfing, playing basketball, and following Notre Dame sports.3
