Mike Koel

Mike Koel is the President of U.S. Energy, a U.S. Venture company.13 In this role, he is responsible for the company’s growth and expansion into new markets and technologies.13 U.S. Energy is a vertically integrated energy solutions provider proficient in refined products, alternative fuels, and environmental credits with offices in Wisconsin and Texas.13

Koel has been with U.S. Venture for over 20 years.13 Before his current role, Koel founded U.S. Gain within U.S. Oil in 2011 and was named President of U.S. Gain in May 2017.13 U.S. Gain is a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) provider, offering fleet operators access to GAIN® Clean Fuel, an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective alternative to traditional fuel options.2 He joined U.S. Venture in 2001 as a trader, focused primarily on refined products and ethanol supply.2

Mike Koel graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics.2
