Mike Kenny

Mike Kenny is a dedicated individual who has served over twenty-two years in the military, with seventeen of those years in the U.S. Army Special Forces. He now leads the organization Warriors' Ascent, which focuses on helping veterans and first responders heal from trauma and moral injuries sustained in the line of duty.

Warriors' Ascent offers evidence-based healing practices to strengthen individuals' sense-of-self, ties to the community, and relationships. Mike is passionate about connecting with those interested in supporting their cause through various fundraising events, including an annual golf tournament.

With a background in military operational art and science/studies, Mike has a Master's degree from the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also studied at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.

Throughout his career, Mike Kenny has held various leadership positions, including Executive Director at Warriors' Ascent, SOF SAMS LNO at U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Instructor for SOF Leader Development and Education at the US Army's Command and General Staff College, and Company Commander at U.S. Army 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne). Additionally, he has served in roles such as Plans Officer, Company Executive Officer, Detachment Commander, and Battalion Assistant Operations Officer in different units of the U.S. Army.
