Mike Hudson

Mike Hudson is an internationally experienced serial entrepreneur and corporate director specializing in life science and healthcare businesses.

With nearly 20 years of corporate experience at Unilever, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Royal Numico, Mike has a strong background in health, nutrition, and bio-ingredients.

Transitioning to the private equity and venture sector in 2000, Mike has founded, invested in, and advised numerous early-stage companies, as well as provided consultancy on innovation, technology transfer, and value creation to governments and public sector agencies.

He has led over 20 transactions and strategic partnerships exceeding $2 billion in value, managed a substantial venture portfolio, and served on multiple boards across various countries.

Mike's educational background includes a BSc, PhD, DIC, and ARCS in Life Sciences from Imperial College London, along with completion of business and leadership programs sponsored by leading organizations.

Currently, Mike is a director of Health Ventures Ltd, Gordian Pharma Ltd (focuses on oncology drug development), and Midas Mediscience Ltd (specializing in electrophysiology analytics for cell-based assays).

Outside of his professional life, Mike is a dedicated family man with a passion for gardening and the outdoors, having traveled and worked extensively across Europe, North and South America, and Australasia.
