Hennigan was known for his distinctive style, often wearing a signature bowtie, and was remembered as a formidable presence in the courtroom. Beyond his legal career, he was an avid horseman and owned Quail H Farms, one of the largest producers of sweet potatoes in the U.S..23 He passed away in April 2024 at the age of 80, leaving behind a legacy as a respected figure in the legal community, known for his intellect, integrity, and mentorship to younger lawyers.23
