Mike Gill
Chairman, Evergreen Advisors
Mike Gill is the Chairman of Evergreen Advisors, LLC, with extensive experience spanning over four decades in various roles including entrepreneur, technology executive, and investment banker. His career began at IBM in 1974, where he held several positions before moving to Ernst & Young as a Regional Director of Data Systems. In 1984, he founded AMERICOM, a wireless communications company that grew significantly before its acquisition by Solectron in 2000.12
Gill served as Maryland's first Secretary of Commerce, appointed by Governor Larry Hogan in 2014. He played a crucial role in transforming the state's business landscape and was reappointed to lead the department again in 2021.13 His leadership extends to various boards, including St. Joseph’s Medical Center and Towson University.1
