Mike Freer

Mike Freer is a seasoned Partner at Osborne Clarke's Private Equity practice with extensive experience in advising on buy-outs, equity releases, exits, and other private equity transactions.

He specializes in providing legal counsel to management teams and leads Osborne Clarke's Management Advisory Group, offering a comprehensive advisory service across various practice areas within the firm.

With a background in Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Private Equity, Mike advises institutional investors on transactional matters, portfolio advice, acquisitions, disposals, and re-organizations.

His secondments to BAE Systems and DS Smith have equipped him with a commercial perspective when delivering legal advice.

Having joined Osborne Clarke from Eversheds in 2014, Mike holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction from Nottingham Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) (Hons) from the University of Leicester.
