Mike Chen

Mike Chen is currently the Design Manager at Open Government Products, a branch of the Government Technology Agency in Singapore, where he focuses on building products aimed at serving the public good. He joined the organization on August 21, 2023, and has since established a Creative Designer function within the team.14

Prior to his current role, Mike was the Head of Product Design at ShopBack, a leading e-commerce platform in Asia, where he played a significant role in scaling the product design team.13 His career also includes experience at Zendesk, where he worked on simplifying business software with an emphasis on enterprise solutions and machine learning.1 Additionally, he founded a design studio called Minitheory and was an early employee at a Y Combinator-backed fintech startup.12
