Mike Bigelow

Mike Bigelow is a Professional Engineer with a degree from Harvey Mudd College and a LEED AP BD+C certification. His expertise lies in managing distributed generation and energy planning projects for school districts and private developers. Mike enjoys a variety of project tasks from site visits to developing computer models, and values collaboration within a team environment. He founded Bigelow Energy to offer consulting services and scalable solutions for the building, REIT, and energy sectors.

Specializing in energy planning, maximizing distributed generation LEED impacts, Solar PV design optimization, and detailed fuel cell energy/financial impact analysis, Mike provides green design and alternative energy services, with a focus on data centers. Additionally, he holds a patent pending for Fuel Cell Cartridge design for DMFCC.

Mike's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and further studies at the University of Auckland. His professional experience spans various roles in organizations such as Seattle Children's, McKinstry, Green Building Services, Inc., Sunspot Solar Energy Systems, California Center for Sustainable Energy, ESM Consulting Engineers, Munson Engineers Inc, and Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Corporation.
