Mikael Arutyunian

Mikael Arutyunian is an accomplished musician and the principal clarinetist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He was born in Russia and grew up in Canada where he started his musical education. Later on, he continued his training in the United States where he earned his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from The Juilliard School. Arutyunian has won multiple awards and international competitions and has performed in renowned venues all over the world. Apart from being a highly skilled performer, he is also an active educator, serving as a clarinet faculty member at California State University, Fullerton.
