Miguel Lorenzo

Miguel Lorenzo is a multi-disciplinary professional with a diverse educational background. He studied a Minor in Courant Computer Science focusing on Web Programming and Applications at New York University and pursued an Apprenticeship in Software Engineering at Thinkful. Additionally, Miguel holds a B.A. in Sociology from New York University and a Minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology from NYU Stern School of Business.

With a comprehensive educational foundation that spans the fields of computer science, sociology, business, and technology, Miguel Lorenzo has ventured into various roles in different organizations. Currently, Miguel serves as a Software Engineer specializing in Front-end development at Boehringer Ingelheim. Prior to this, he founded Heat.wav and led projects, worked as a Software Engineer at Thinkful, and gained experience as a Strategy Consultant at Recombinators. Miguel's earlier professional experiences include positions such as Associate Artist Manager and Management Intern at Park Avenue Artists, IT Department Summer Volunteer at Summit Free Public Library, Research Intern at the House of Representatives- Philippines, and Freelance Sports Reporter at The Alternative Press, LLC.
