    Miguel Carmona holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunication Engineering and has a Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Alcala.

    With a background as a project manager and research scientist in the fields of railways and defense at Logytel and Alcatel, Miguel Carmona has been an Associate Professor at the University of Alcala in Madrid, Spain since 1999.

    He has also served as a Visiting Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specifically at the Center for Collective Intelligence within the MIT Sloan School of Management.

    Miguel Carmona has an extensive publication record with over 100 publications in various journals, book chapters, and conferences.

    His research areas include Intelligent Transport Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Complex Systems Optimization, Decision Support Systems, and Complex Automated Negotiation Systems.

    He received recognition for his Ph.D. thesis with the award for the best Ph.D. thesis in electronic commerce from the Official College of Telecommunications Engineers (COIT) and the prize for Innovation in Mobile Communications from the Vodafone Foundation.
