Miguel Rosas

Miguel Camelo Rosas is an accomplished aerospace industry professional with over a decade of experience in structural design, integration, testing, project, and program management.

Currently, Miguel serves as a Staff Test Engineer at Collins Aerospace in the Mission Systems division, focusing on ACES 5 Ejection Seats, a branch of Raytheon Technologies (RTX).

His expertise spans various areas such as test planning, design engineering leadership, project and program management, customer and supplier interaction, airframe structures, mechanical systems, and hardware interfaces.

Miguel's educational background includes a Master of Science in Environmental, Sustainability, and Renewable Energy Engineering, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from renowned institutions like Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Colorado Boulder, and Florida Institute of Technology.

He has also participated in a Study Abroad Program in Aerospace Engineering at ISAE-SUPAERO.

In his professional journey, Miguel has held key roles such as Operations Program Manager at UTC Aerospace Systems, Engineering Design Lead at Pratt & Whitney, and Airframe Design Engineer at Piper Aircraft.

Beyond his professional career, Miguel engages in volunteering for Engineers Without Borders USA, leading successful projects like the water supply initiative in Sabhung, Nepal.

In his leisure time, he indulges in various adventurous activities including rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, backcountry skiing, triathlons, and extensive world travel.
