Michael “Mickey” Levitan is a Visiting Fellow and Adjunct Professor at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, where he focuses on philanthropic studies and teaches a community service seminar. His work emphasizes the impact and sustainability of social service nonprofits.1
Levitan has a diverse background that includes leadership and entrepreneurial roles across the business, nonprofit, and government sectors. He is the founder and former CEO of Courseload, Inc., and has held executive positions in various national corporations. Additionally, he has experience with Save the Children and the Peace Corps, serving in leadership capacities.12
He holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business, an M.A. in international agricultural economics from the Stanford Food Research Institute, and a B.A. with high distinction in interdisciplinary international studies from Dartmouth College.1
