Michelle Xu is a talented urban designer and planner with expertise in community placemaking, sustainable design, and public-private integration. She studied Urban Design and Urban Planning at the University of Melbourne, where she gained her Bachelor of Environments. Additionally, she has studied City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning, Urban Design, Human Geography, and UK Planning during her exchange at the University of Manchester. Michelle has worked as a Research Analyst and Data Analyst in the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications, where she focused on improving her skills in data analysis and urban research. She has previously held positions as an Urban Designer at Hansen Partnership and as an Aquatics Consultant at the City of Monash. Michelle is passionate about creating better places for everyday users, and her career reflects that through her strong interest in community placemaking and sustainable design.
