Michelle McGee

Michelle McGee is a developer of ONT, a root ontology in algorithmic form, and Novel View, a dynamic model of the universe as a complex emergent system, with a passion for blending experience and complexity through contemplative practices.

With 18 years of experience in higher education, Michelle has a diverse background in biology, research, instruction, and related technologies, while being an autodidact in complex systems, theoretical physics, cosmology, nonlinearity, and chaos theory, psychology, neuroscience, religious faiths, and philosophical disciplines.

As an innovator in intelligent relating, Michelle utilizes tools that engage experiential vocabulary to unlock connections to the real and possible aspects of ourselves, existence, and systems of all types and scales, aiming to challenge intellectual norms and build experiential and existential rapport.

Michelle's ultimate goal is to be a change-maker, transforming existence through new systems applications rooted in natural in-formation and meaningful-experience relationships.

Education-wise, Michelle studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Vermont, and has held various roles like Content Developer & Instructor at MichelleMcGee.com, Foundational Documentation for ONT as a self-employed individual, and positions at the University of Vermont and Duke University.
