Community Events Manager at The Rock Church

Design, implement and manage multi-faceted new and existing major community events that support the Rock’s vision of Global Pervasive Hope. 

Collaborate with internal staff departments, community agencies and/or leaders and volunteer leadership teams to lead community events that serve a range of thousands to over ten thousand guests as well as building volunteer leadership teams who can mobilize and equip hundreds/thousands of volunteers.

Combined a unique blend of operational oversight, project management and marketing initiatives. Collaborated with channel partners to define strategic direction and business objectives of web marketing. Translated business requirements into clearly understandable criteria, objectives, and requirements for web creative, development and technical teams. Redefine processes and operating mechanisms to maximize resources and team efficiencies. Lead yearly and weekly resource planning meetings. Managed 2 direct reports and 2 marketing portfolios worth $800M and $650M.

Intuit

Sr. Web Marketing Program Manager

Perform full-scale event management leading a team of 55 volunteers. Promoted from Area Leader in 2008 to manage the overall event responsibilities including organizational leadership, on-site coordination, management of cross-functional teams, permitting and volunteer recruitment. Developed and executed marketing plans through direct, print, social media, online marketing, television and public relations. Created and initiated strategic sponsorship plans and budgets.  Designed website, www.toys-for-joy.org and create new bi-yearly operational plans as event locations change.

Event Director - Leadership & Operations, Toys for Joy

Managed $15M budget and 2 direct reports. Defined strategies for the development, execution  and management of comprehensive marketing plans for TurboTax and Quicken, targeting the consumer desktop business.  Partnered with product and customer service teams to create a solid end-to-end customer experience. Led freelance and agency creative teams; managed the on-boarding, budgeting, scope of work and process. Forecasted FY scope and resources required to meet business needs.  Coordinated team trainings and development. Created multiple processes and procedures to streamline seasonal workflows.

Sr. Marketing Manager

Led all aspects of execution for direct response campaigns for 3 of the top 5 agency accounts (Intuit, AAA and Microsoft) specializing in financial services and software. Developed processes for executing internally and external campaigns. Managed complex new client programs;  developed and implemented project/season schedules and managed all aspects of print production, data, mail production and outside services.
